The extensive product portfolio of Lumberg Automation™ and Hirschmann™ valve connectors comprises the types A (DIN standard EN 175301-803) as well as B and C (DIN standard EN 175301-803 and Industry standard):

The robust GDM-series (type A, B or C) is suitable for an almost unlimited number of applications – this is made possible by customized device connectors for all installation types. The GDM-series is used wherever rectangular connectors have to have resilient qualities, such as for example on drilling rigs, conveyor installations or in construction machines.

Hydraulic, pneumatic and electromagnetic actuators and sensors – where hardness meets hardness, the GDM-series is fully within its element.

And for this reason, the rectangular connector with a high loading capacity is especially well-suited for use with solenoid valves, pressure sensors, flow controllers and in heating equipment in control systems for gas appliances and oil burners. Even in vibration-endangered devices and structural components such as construction machines or in conveyor installations, it is possible to have a highly durable solution with the use of crimp technology. With built-in electronic components such as rectifiers, optical status displays and protective elements, the GDM-series can be connected to devices where these functions have not been integrated.

  • Number of poles: 2+PE 2+2PE, 3+PE (depending on the product)
  • Screw joints for cable: M12, M16, M20, PG7, PG9, PG11, 1/2" NPTF, G1/2" (ISO 228)
  • Cable diameter/cross-section: 4,0 to 14 mm, max. 1,5 mm²
  • Rated voltage: up to 400 V AC/DC (type A), up to 250 V AC/DC (types B and C)
  • Rated current: up to 16 A (Field-attachable and receptacle connectors), up to 10 A (molded connectors)
  • Protection class: IP 65/67 (Field-attachable and receptacle connectors), up to IP 69 K (molded connectors)
  • Temperature range: -40 °C up to + 125 °C (Field-attachable and receptacle connectors), -25 °C up to +90 °C (molded connectors)
  • Approvals: VDE (all products), UL/CSA/GL/SEV (depending on the product)
