Cost-effective upgrading for Industrial HiVision
The new Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP) is a cost-effective way for you to update your Industrial HiVision network management software. Provided you have a full license for versions 04.0.00 or later, in return for a single payment you will automatically receive the latest release for a period of twelve months. This way, you can make an exact calculation and precise budgeting for the costs of network administration and monitoring over twelve months, in line with a Total Cost of Ownership approach. You also save up to 60 percent in comparison with the one-time purchase of an update.
Our network management software, which was specifically designed for industrial applications, is continually being enhanced with additional functions for more convenient network administration and monitoring, in line with users’ requirements. On average, two new Industrial HiVision versions are released each year. As an AMP customer, you can start to benefit from these without delay.
The registration code for the updates can either be supplied by e-mail, together with a link for downloading Industrial HiVision, or sent as part of a package containing a CD with the network management software and printed operating instructions. Please note that these new releases can only be installed on a PC that is already running a full version of Industrial HiVision.
There is no need to sign a contract in order to benefit from AMP. You simply need to accept the license terms that also apply to the installation of Industrial HiVision. Twelve months later, you can decide whether or not you want to extend the service.
As with the costs for a full license, the single payment to be paid for the Industrial HiVision updates depends on the number of IP addresses monitored. Both full-license and single payment prices are based on the applicable number of nodes (25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 IP addresses). If more than one full-license version of the network management software is running on a PC, then a corresponding number of AMPs will be required.
