Among other things, we have extended the functionality of the integrated DHCP server with this new version. You can therefore now also manage devices via VLAN and the "automatic device replacement" is even more comfortable for you. This will save you time, simplify your maintenance and increase the productivity of your plants.
The new software version 7.1 for the managed Industrial Ethernet switches in the MACH, MICE, Rail and OCTOPUS families from Hirschmann ™ is now available for download with the following new features:
Management
- Radius Authentication for Management Access (incl. SNMP over HTTPS)
Plug & Work
- DHCP Server: Configurable address pools per VLAN (available in RS20/30/40, MS20/30, OCTOPUS, MACH1020/30, MACH102)
- Configurable self diagnostic restart
- Configurable skipping of ACA21 during boot
- Configurable Fast PoE startup (Octopus only)
