The Hirschmann Configuration Tool is a Java-based application. This application provides you with product information that is up-to-date at all times. It is also very user-friendly, and you can rapidly access the data you require whenever you need it. A prerequisite to using this application is installing the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your computer. The application is compatible with JRE version 6 update 22, or later.

The application is compatible with any device running Windows 7, 10, XP, or 8 and is using a standard setup routine to make the installation as simple as possible.

Installation for Windows
Please follow these steps to install the application using the standard setup routine on Windows. Click the <Setup Download> button to download the current version of the installation program "ConfigToolSetup.zip". Unpack the zip file, run the installation file "ConfigToolSetup.exe" and select your language. You will then be guided through the installation. After the installation you can open the application using either the "Config Tool App" shortcut in the start menu and or the desktop icon named "Config Tool App".

Offline Feature
A special feature of this application is that it can also be used "offline", i.e. without a connection to the Internet. If you are connected to the Internet while running the application, an automatic check is carried out for updates. You also need to be online to use the "e-catalog button" function.
