Hirschmann and Tofino Security Online Price List
A new version of the Industrial Networking (INET) electronic price list info application is available for download now
Valid as of:
- July 1st 2024 for EMEA
- January 1st 2024 for USA/LATAM
The Hirschmann electronic price list info database is a Java-based application. This application provides you with product and price information that is up-to-date at all times. It is also very user-friendly, and you can rapidly access the data you require whenever you need it. A prerequisite to using this application is installing the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your computer. The application is compatible with JRE version 6 update 22, or later.

The application is compatible with any device running Windows 7, 10, XP, or 8 and is using a standard setup routine to make the installation as simple as possible.

This update provides the new prices as they will be valid from 01.07.2024
The new prices only apply to the EMEA region.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.0.0 RC1 [20231213]
This update is a purely functional update of the application.
Due to the long lead time from the deployment of the application to the actual effective date of the new prices,
there were always questions as to how high the old price of a product was during this period,
which in the current case is almost three months, especially for EMEA customers.
For fixed numbered products, the logbook of price changes could provide information on this.
Sadly only few users found and used the logbook feature…
However, there was no such logbook for freely configurable products.
With this new version of the application, this has now been fundamentally revised.
In addition to the logbook, there is now a small button in all price displays,
regardless of whether it is a fixed numbered hardware or service product, or a freely configurable product,
with either a red arrow pointing upwards for a price increase,
or a green arrow pointing downwards for a price reduction, which you can click on.
Clicking on the button opens a pop-up window in which the new and old prices are displayed side by side.
In addition, the date from which the new price is valid and the date until which the old price is valid is also shown.
But that's not all - the display of the price list of fixed numbered products as a complete list
has also been extended so that the current new and the previous old price are displayed.
The column with the old price is displayed on the far right as the last column in the list.
The new and old prices are now also displayed in the "Check products" window,
regardless of whether these are fixed numbered products or freely configurable products.
This means that you can now import all products that you have previously purchased into this window and display the new and old price, regardless of whether they are fixed numbered or freely configurable products.
I really hope you like these new features and that the long-standing problem of the old-new price issue is finally resolved.

Installation for Windows
Please follow these steps to install the application using the standard setup routine on Windows. Click the <Setup Download> button to download the current version of the installation program "PriceListSetup.zip". Unpack the zip file, run the installation file "PriceListSetup.exe" and select your language. You will then be guided through the installation. After the installation you can open the application using either the "Hirschmann Price Info App" shortcut in the start menu and or the desktop icon named "Hirschmann Price Info App".
Enter "Access Code"
When starting the price list for the first time, you will need to enter your personal access code. You will also need to enter and store your address data and your individual Hirschmann product discount. Once you have done this, the online price list is ready for use.
You have already received your personal access code from us by e-mail. Please enter the code exactly in the way it is written in the e-mail as the code is case sensitive. If you have not yet received the access code sent out to Hirschmann partners, please contact our sales team.
Offline Feature of the Price List
A special feature of this price list is that it can also be used "offline", i.e. without a connection to the Internet. If you are connected to the Internet while running the application, an automatic check is carried out for updates. You also need to be online to use the "e-catalog button" function.
